The Origins of Labubu Labubu was created by Hong Kong-based illustrator and artist Kasing Lung. Known for his whimsical and slightly dark artistic style, Lung introduced Labubu as part of his illustrated story universe, “The Monsters.” His artwork combines childlike innocence with subtle gothic undertones, creating characters that feel magic
